We have just enjoyed a fabulous Sunday dinner here for a family gathering of 20. The beautifully presented food was delicious! We were well looked after by the very helpful, friendly team. Highly recommend!
The Regent Hotel have just hosted the wake of my sister-in-law and they were nothing short of fantastic. We were given great advice when we were making the booking enquiry which helped us with our plans immensely. On the day, Simon and the team were excellent, they were able to divert additional staff to cater for higher than expected numbers at short notice. The food was delicious and plentiful, the bar was tendered very well with people not waiting too long to be served. I would have no hesitation in booking an event here again in future and I would recommend without hesitation. Simon and the team were lovely people to deal with and made what was a difficult day, that much more easier.
The Regent is a very nice hotel with great staff. The location nearest to the city center but outside the big all-night party area with only a 15-min-walk to the Frenchgate and the station is a perfect base for travelling around the country. The staff in this family runned hotel is the best, I always feel very welcomed. I am a very frequent guest here. Thanks again!

Comfortable bed. Very hot water. Room nice and warm as cold outside. Breakfast has good selection and enjoyably. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Party food excellent. Would stay again
We had our wedding reception here last weekend and it was amazing from start to finish! Jo and Simon are amazing, so kind and helpful. I stayed the night before and soon as I arrived they were helping me unloading my car and making sure everything was good for us all! We had a meal which was 10/10. The morning of the wedding all the staff were on hand to help with anything that was needed even including getting me in my dress and into the car. The rooms were big and spacious with comfortable beds. Throughout the whole day staff were always around to help with anything and no long waits to be served! Again food was absolutely amazing for the wedding reception and so filling every guest commented on how delicious it all was! Will definitely be returning to try the Sunday lunch! Thank you to all the staff at the regent but especially Simon and Jo you are all amazing! The wrights
Can’t comment on the hotel but just had Sunday lunch, we got the platter for 2 and the portion is amazing! Could have easily fed 3 people. Beef was a little too well done for me (that’s just personal preference) but they’ll chicken was well seasoned and the pork belly melted in your mouth! Amazing service from Simon and the team! Always happy to help and nothings too much trouble!
The hotel is a little dated but don't let that put you off. My room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy. The corridors could have benefitted from a carpet clean but its just a corridor so does it really matter? The bar and the reception areas a nicely decorated and feel friendly and inviting. The staff can not do enough to help, from booking taxis to the race course to serving drinks and even helping us get a cheeky snack of crips butties when they weren't really serving food. They were great. With good places to park all around the area, the location is a short uber ride to Doncaster races and if you go out in the town is a 2 minute walk from the main street. Spot on and would 100% stay again. Thanks to everyone for helping to accommodate our works summer social!
